**Definition:** A cancer vaccine based on the immunogenic ganglioside GM2, The GM2-KLH Vaccine/QS21 vaccine consists of GM2 conjugated with KLH keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH), a potent immunostimulant, and is admixed with the adjuvant QS21, a saponin fraction extracted from the bark of the South American tree Quillaja saponaria Molina.
