Posterior Fossa Syndrome

**Definition:** A postoperative syndrome, usually presenting after midline posterior fossa tumor resection, that involves a variety of signs and symptoms including aphasia, mutism or speech disturbances, dysphagia, mobility problems, cranial nerve palsies and emotional instability.
