**Definition:** The transfusion of two units of umbilical cord blood, one unit from each of two patients. This is mostly commonly done as a form of stem cell transplant for patients with leukemia, lymphoma, or other serious blood disease who require a bone marrow transplant, but for whom no suitable donor can be found.
