Overlap Syndrome

**Definition:** An autoimmune, connective tissue disorder in which the patient exhibits features from two or more diseases. These typically include systemic sclerosis, dermatomyositis, polymyositis, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and Sjogren syndrome; in pediatrics the respective pediatric entities are encountered.
