Subependymal Pseudocyst

**Definition:** Cerebral periventricular cyst located on the floor of the lateral cerebral ventricle, most commonly in the caudothalamic groove, and results from regression of the germinal matrix or as a sequela of a prior subependymal hemorrhage or germinal matrix infarct.
