Tibialis Anterior Muscle

**Definition:** A muscle that originates from the lateral condyle of tibia, spans the upper two-thirds of the lateral surface of the tibia, and is attached to the first cuneiform and metatarsal bones of the foot. It is a dorsiflexor of the ankle and invertor of the foot.
