WWTR1/CAMTA1 Fusion Gene

**Definition:** A fusion gene that results from a chromosomal translocation t(1;3)(p36;q23-25) which fuses the first 2, 3 or 4 exons of the WWTR1 gene to the upstream side of either exon 8 or exon 9 of the CAMTA1 gene. This fusion is associated with epithelioid hemangioendothelioma.
