Type A Tylosis

**Semantic type:** Disease or Syndrome

**Definition:** An inherited form of tylosis that presents between 5-14 years of age and is characterized by focal areas of nonepidermolytic palmoplantar keratoderma. Individuals have an increased incidence of esophageal carcinoma.
