**Definition:** Tissue damage to the glomerulus and renal tubules resulting from irradiation, which is characterized by vascular endothelial damage, mesangial damage, platelet aggregation in the capillary loops, thickening of the glomerular arteriolar intimal layer, and atrophic tubules.
