Near Complete Response of Multiple Myeloma or Plasma Cell Leukemia

**Definition:** A subgroup of complete response of multiple myeloma or plasma cell leukemia. It is characterized by less than 5% plasma cells in the bone marrow, unmeasurable serum and urine monoclonal proteins by electrophoresis, and positive serum and/or urine immunofixation.
