Roseomonas mucosa

**Definition:** A species of Gram-negative cocco bacillus in the family Acetobacteraceae. R. mucosa is characterized by the formation of mucoid, runny colonies. The species has urease activity and assimilates arabinose, maltose, citrate, and glucose.
