**Definition:** The state when recipients of hematopoietic stem cell transplantations are not fully matched with their unrelated adult volunteer donors for HLA-A, HLA-B, HLA-C, and HLA-DRB1 and the homozygous recipient is receiving a graft from a heterozygous donor.
