Central Memory T-Lymphocyte

**Definition:** Long-lived antigen-specific T-lymphocytes, which express CD45RO, L-selectin and CCR7. Upon subsequent exposure to their target antigen, these cells rapidly proliferate and differentiate into effector cells.
