2,3-Dinor-6-Ketoprostaglandin F1alpha

**Definition:** A beta-oxidation product of 6-keto prostaglandin F1 alpha (PGF1a) and the major urinary metabolite of prostaglandin I2 (prostacyclin, PGI2). 2,3-dinor-6-ketoprostaglandin F1alpha in urine is often used as a correlative marker to indirectly measure prostacyclin production.
