Bocaparvovirus

**Definition:** A genus of non-enveloped single-stranded DNA viruses in the family Parvoviridae with a 21-22 nm diameter capsid and a genome of about 5.5kb. Bocaparvoviruses encode a novel protein called NP1 that is not present in parvoviruses from other genera.
