GAIA Level 2 Maternal Immunization

**Definition:** GAIA Level 2 Maternal immunization is defined by three criteria: first, pregnancy must be confirmed by both the patient's report of cessation of menstrual period and by physical exam revealing a gravid uterus; second, the date (at least month and year) of the immunization of the pregnant woman must be recorded in the medical records by the health care worker who administered/witnessed administration of vaccine; third, the medical record must contain details of the disease against which the individual was vaccinated.
