Derkay Staging System

**Definition:** A staging system for assessment of recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP). The staging system includes a functional assessment of severity as well as an anatomic assessment of disease distribution. The anatomic score can then be used in combination with the functional assessment to measure an individual patient's clinical course and response to therapy over time.
