Anti-AG7 Antibody-drug Conjugate AbGn-107
**Semantic type:** Pharmacologic Substance
**Definition:** An antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) composed of a monoclonal antibody that targets the tumor-associated antigen (TAA) AG7 and is linked, through a hydrophilic, self-immolative linker, to a proprietary cytotoxic payload, with potential antineoplastic activity. Upon administration of AbGn-107 the antibody moiety targets and binds to the AG7 antigen expressed on a variety of cancer cells. Upon binding and internalization, the linker is cleaved and the payload is released, binds to tubulin, inhibits tubulin polymerization and kills the AG7-expressing tumor cells.
