Appendiceal Carcinoma TNM Finding v8

**Definition:** A finding about one or more characteristics of appendiceal carcinoma, following the rules of the TNM AJCC v8 classification system. This staging system applies to carcinomas of the appendix, including high-grade neuroendocrine carcinomas, mixed adenoneuroendocrine carcinomas, and goblet cell carcinoids. Well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumors (carcinoids) are staged according to the classification for neuroendocrine tumors of the appendix. (from AJCC 8th Ed.)
