**Definition:** A finding about one or more characteristics of a duodenum and ampulla of Vater neuroendocrine tumor, following the rules of the TNM AJCC v8 classification system. This classification system applies to well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumors of the duodenum and ampulla of Vater. Carcinomas of the duodenum, including high-grade (grade 3), poorly differentiated neuroendocrine carcinomas and carcinomas of the ampulla of Vater, including high-grade (grade 3), poorly differentiated neuroendocrine carcinomas are not included in this classification system.
