**Semantic type:** Finding

**Definition:** Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor limited to the pancreas and measuring less than 2 cm. Limited to the pancreas means there is no invasion of adjacent organs (stomach, spleen, colon, adrenal gland) or the wall of large vessels (celiac axis or the superior mesenteric artery). Extension of tumor into peripancreatic adipose tissue is not a basis for staging. (from AJCC 8th Ed.)
