**Definition:** Breast cancer with micrometastases (approximately 200 cells, larger than 0.2 mm, but none larger than 2.0 mm). cN1mi is rarely used but may be appropriate in cases where sentinel node biopsy is performed before tumor resection, most likely to occur in cases treated with neoadjuvant therapy.
