Graded Prognostic Assessment Score

**Definition:** A 4-tiered score that stratifies patients with common primary tumors metastasizing to the brain (malignant melanoma, lung, breast, kidney and gastrointestinal cancers) into subgroups with different prognoses. The score is based on age, Karnofsky performance status, number of extracranial metastases, number of brain metastases, and site of primary tumor.
