Pulmonary Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis

**Definition:** Langerhans cell histiocytosis affecting the lungs. It is characterized by an interstitial proliferation of Langerhans cells in the lung parenchyma. Most patients are current or former smokers. Steroids are the mainstay therapy for this condition.
