**Definition:** A preparation of human umbilical cord blood (UCB)-derived and ex vivo-expanded allogeneic natural killer (NK) cells, with immunomodulating and cytotoxic activities. Upon infusion of the cord blood-derived expanded allogeneic NK cells, these cells recognize and bind to tumor cells, and secrete perforins, granzymes, and cytokines, which cause cancer cell lysis.
