**Definition:** A form of prostaglandin F2alpha derived from prostaglandin D2 (PGD2). The concentration of 9alpha,11beta-prostaglandin F2alpha (9a11b-PGF2a) in a sample may be correlated with the levels of PGD2 synthesis. 9a11b-PGF2a levels are elevated in certain types of cancers.
