Young Autologous Tumor-infiltrating Lymphocytes

**Definition:** A preparation of autologous young tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs), that are isolated from the patient's tumor tissue and minimally cultured ex vivo, with potential antineoplastic and immunomodulating activities. Upon re-administration of the young TILs, the TILs re-infiltrate the tumor, recognize the tumor cells and initiate tumor cell lysis. This inhibits tumor cell growth.
