**Definition:** A preparation composed of allogeneic umbilical cord blood (UCB)-derived, ex vivo expanded and enhanced CD4+/CD25+ T-regulatory cells (Tregs) with potential immunomodulatory activity. Upon administration, the UCB-derived CD4+/CD25+ Tregs CK0801 may promote immunologic homeostasis and prevent autoimmunity by suppressing self-reactive T-cells. This may induce tolerance to allogeneic organ transplants, prevent graft-versus-host disease (GvHD), and suppress autoimmune pathology.
