Capecitabine Regimen

**Definition:** A regimen consisting of capecitabine that may be used in the treatment of anal carcinoma, breast (and its metastases to the central nervous system), bladder, colon, esophageal and esophagogastric junction, gastric, hepatobiliary, penile, ovarian, squamous cell skin, fallopian tube, primary peritoneal, rectal and head and neck cancer, including cancer of the nasopharynx, appendiceal, small bowel, ampullary and pancreatic adenocarcinoma, occult primary and gestational trophoblastic tumors, extrapulmonary poorly differentiated neuroendocrine carcinoma, large or small cell carcinoma and mixed neuroendocrine-non-neuroendocrine neoplasm, and neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, lung, and thymus.
