**Definition:** A standardized 30-item self-administered quality of life questionnaire, developed by the European Organization for the Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Group in 1995 as an update to the European Organization for the Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire - Core 36 (EORTC QLQ-C36), which was originally developed in 1987 and then modified to become EORTC QLQ-C30 in 1993.
