Uroacitides
**Semantic type:** Amino Acid, Peptide, or Protein|Pharmacologic Substance
**Definition:** A mixture of peptides, organic acids, pigments, and phenylacetylglutamine isolated from healthy human urine with potential antineoplastic activity. Upon administration, uroacitides, also known as cell differentiation agent II (CDA-II) may inhibit telomerase activity in tumor cells. This may lead to an accumulation of tumor cells in G1 phase and inhibition of tumor cell proliferation.
