Double Immunodiffusion

**Definition:** A qualitative technique used to identify specific antibodies bound to an antigen by the appearance of a precipitation band (precipitin band) formed between wells in an agar gel plate as a result of the interaction of the antigen and antibodies at optimal concentration.
