Icelandic Sheepdog

**Definition:** Formerly used to herd and guard sheep, horses and cattle, today these small-to-mid-sized dogs make loyal, loving family pets. They have a dense coat, foxy face, pointed ears, and a bushy, curling tail. They may be any of several predominate colors, with white markings. The average height range is 16.5-18 inches and the average weight range is 25-30 pounds.
