Combined Nevus

**Semantic type:** Neoplastic Process

**Definition:** A melanocytic nevus that arises from the skin or conjunctiva and is characterized by the presence of two or more morphologically distinct melanocytic nevus components in a single lesion. One component is a conventional nevus component, and the other(s) are usually blue nevus, deep penetrating nevus, Spitz nevus, or balloon cell nevus components.
