Abductor Digiti Minimi Muscle of the Hand

**Definition:** A muscle of the hand, in general extending from the pisiform bone, the pisohamate ligament, and the flexor retinaculum to the ulnopalmar margin of the proximal phalanx. Primary function is abduction of the little finger and flexion of the phalanx nearest the hand.
