ZNF532/NUTM1 Fusion Gene

**Definition:** A fusion gene that results from a chromosomal translocation t(15;18)(q14;q21.32) which fuses either the first 4 exons or the first 10 exons of the ZNF532 gene with either intron 1 or exon 2 of the NUTM1 gene, respectively. This rare rearrangement is associated with NUT carcinoma.
