Xaluritamig
**Semantic type:** Amino Acid, Peptide, or Protein|Immunologic Factor|Pharmacologic Substance
**Definition:** A humanized immunoglobulin G1 (IgG1) bispecific antibody directed against both the tumor-associated antigen (TAA) six transmembrane epithelial antigen of the prostate 1 (STEAP1) and the T-cell surface antigen CD3, with potential immunostimulating and antineoplastic activities. Upon administration, xaluritamig targets and binds to both STEAP1 expressed on the surface of tumor cells and CD3 expressed on T-cells. This results in the cross-linking of tumor cells and T-cells, and induces a cytotoxic T-lymphocyte (CTL) response against STEAP1-expressing tumor cells. STEAP1 is overexpressed in a variety of cancers including prostate cancer.
**Synonyms:** - AMG 509 - AMG-509 - AMG509 - Bispecific Antibody AMG 509 - XALURITAMIG
