Pain Buddy

**Definition:** A web-based program that allows children to report pain at home, as they have it. It is designed to document a child's pain, symptoms, and quality of life while receiving outpatient chemotherapy. The user interface contains a personalized avatar (Pain Buddy) to guide children and parents through daily diary entries. Pain Buddy can capture real time pain data from patients, to allowing remote monitoring of patient symptoms and guide intervention.
