Reluscovtogene Ralaplasmid
**Semantic type:** Immunologic Factor|Nucleic Acid, Nucleoside, or Nucleotide|Pharmacologic Substance
**Definition:** A vaccine consisting of DNA plasmid encoding the severe acute respiratory syndrome-coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) surface antigen spike (S) protein, with potential immunizing activity against SARS-CoV-2. Upon administration of reluscovtogene ralaplasmid via intradermal (ID) injection followed by electroporation (EP), the DNA plasmids enter the cells and the cells produce the SARS-CoV-2 S protein. This may activate both humoral and cellular immune responses which may result in protection against SARS-CoV-2 infection.
**Synonyms:** - INO 4800 - INO-4800 - INO4800 - RELUSCOVTOGENE RALAPLASMID - pGX 9501 - pGX-9501 - pGX9501
