**Definition:** A measurement of antibodies in an individual that are directed against HLAs in a donor tissue and can cause antibody-mediated transplant rejection. The mean fluorescence intensity (MFI) is a measure of the degree of saturation of total antigens present on the beads by antibodies in an ELISA assay and is used as a surrogate marker for the level of antibody titers.
