**Definition:** A covalently-trimerized fusion protein-based vaccine composed of a C-prodomain peptide of human collagen covalently bound to the viral spike protein (SP) of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2), thereby resembling the native trimeric viral SP, with potential immunomodulating and anti-COVID-19 activities.
