**Definition:** A preparation of equine polyvalent immunoglobulin F(ab')2 fragments specific for the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2), that can be used for passive immunization against Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Upon administration, the anti-SARS-CoV-2 equine antibody fragments specifically target and bind to SARS-CoV-2 and may thereby neutralize SARS-CoV-2. This may slow the progression of the disease and accelerate recovery, and may potentially provide temporary protection against infection with SARS-CoV-2.
