Anti-CD20/Anti-CD22 CAR T-cells
**Semantic type:** Cell|Pharmacologic Substance
**Definition:** A preparation of human T-lymphocytes engineered to express chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) specific for the tumor-associated antigens (TAAs) cluster of differentiation 20 (CD20) and CD22, with potential immunostimulating and antineoplastic activities. Upon administration, the anti-CD20/anti-CD22 CAR T-cells target and bind to both CD20 and CD22 expressed on the surface of tumor cells. This induces selective toxicity in tumor cells expressing these TAAs. CD20 and CD22 are overexpressed in certain hematologic malignancies.
**Synonyms:** - CD20/CD22 Dual Targeted CAR T-cells - CD20/CD22-targeted CAR T-cells
