Bromelains/Boswellia Serrata Supplement

**Definition:** A nutritional supplement composed of bromelains, enzymes found in pineapple juice and in the pineapple stem, and an extract from the boswellia serrata tree, that can potentially be used to reduce edema, paresthesia and pain. Upon oral administration of bromelains/boswellia serrata supplement, the bromelains may reduce inflammation, pain and swelling. The boswellia serrata extract containing active boswellic acids, appears to have anti-inflammatory effects, may suppress pain and reduce edema, and may promote tissue regeneration.
