Indium In 111 FPI-2058
**Semantic type:** Amino Acid, Peptide, or Protein|Indicator, Reagent, or Diagnostic Aid|Pharmacologic Substance
**Definition:** A radioconjugate consisting of the neurotensin receptor type 1 (NTR1; NTSR1) antagonist, IPN01087 (3BP-227) that is linked to the radioisotope indium In 111, with potential imaging activity during single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT)/computed tomography (PET/CT). Upon administration, indium In 111 IPN01087 targets and binds to NTR1 expressed on certain tumor cells. Upon binding and radioimaging, NTR1-expressing tumor cells can be visualized and the biodistribution of IPN01087 can be assessed. NTR1, a G-protein coupled receptor, is highly expressed in ductal pancreatic adenocarcinoma but not in normal pancreatic tissue.
