CD8-depleted Non-engrafting HLA-mismatched Unrelated Donor Lymphocytes
**Semantic type:** Cell|Pharmacologic Substance
**Definition:** A preparation of allogeneic lymphocytes from an HLA-mismatched donor that have been selectively depleted of CD8+ T-cells, with potential T-cell reconstitution purposes. Upon infusion, the donor-derived CD8+-depleted lymphocytes may increase the levels of CD4+ T-cells (Teffs) and promote T-cell reconstitution. The infusion of donor lymphocytes depleted of CD8 T-cells may reduce the risk of inducing graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) compared to the infusion of non-CD8-depleted T-cells.
