Ovarian Dedifferentiated Carcinoma

**Definition:** An aggressive carcinoma arising from the ovary. Most patients present with advanced disease. Microscopically, it is characterized by the presence of an undifferentiated carcinomatous component and a second component of either endometrioid carcinoma or, rarely, serous carcinoma.
