Anti-CD38 Monoclonal Antibody CID-103

**Semantic type:** Amino Acid, Peptide, or Protein|Immunologic Factor|Pharmacologic Substance

**Definition:** A human immunoglobulin G1 (IgG1) monoclonal antibody directed against the cell surface glycoprotein ADP-ribosyl cyclase 1 (CD38), with potential antineoplastic activity. Upon administration, anti-CD38 monoclonal antibody CID-103 specifically targets and binds to CD38 expressed on tumor cells. This may trigger antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), cell lysis and depletion of CD38-expressing tumor cells. CD38, a type II transmembrane glycoprotein, is present on various immune cells and hematologic malignancies.

**Synonyms:** - CID 103 - CID-103 - CID-103 - CID103 - TSK011010
