Autologous Anti-CD4 CAR T-cells LB1901
**Semantic type:** Cell|Pharmacologic Substance
**Definition:** A preparation of autologous T-lymphocytes that have been genetically modified and transduced with a lentiviral vector expressing a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) targeting the tumor-associated antigen (TAA) CD4, with potential immunostimulating and antineoplastic activities. Upon administration, autologous anti-CD4 CAR T-cells LB1901 target and bind to CD4-expressing tumor cells, thereby inducing selective toxicity in CD4-expressing tumor cells. CD4 antigen is expressed in CD4-positive T-cell lymphomas.
