Autologous Anti-KK-LC-1 TCR-expressing T-cells
**Semantic type:** Cell|Pharmacologic Substance
**Definition:** A preparation of autologous T-lymphocytes that have been genetically engineered to express a T-cell receptor (TCR) specific for the tumor-associated antigen (TAA) Kita-Kyushu lung cancer antigen-1 (KK-LC-1), with potential immunomodulating and antineoplastic activities. Upon administration, the autologous anti-KK-LC-1 TCR-expressing T-cells specifically target and bind to KK-LC-1-expressing tumor cells. This leads to T-cell activation and T-cell mediated lysis of KK-LC-1-expressing tumor cells. KK-LC-1, a cancer germline (CG) antigen, is expressed in a variety of epithelial cancers and has restricted expression in normal tissues.
**Synonyms:** - KK-LC-1 TCR T Cells
